Choosing the Healthiest Fruit

 

 

Many more fruits than the four listed here are considered some of the healthiest fruits we can eat. Those might include apples, grapes pears and oranges. What is "healthiest" depends on a number of factors. A diabetic may not be advised to consume as much natural sugar as a person who is not diabetic. Heart diets might suggest eating fruits early in the day with breakfast or lunch to allow the sugars to digest fully before retiring. A diet for those suffering candida or skin rashes might want to reduce the number of portions of fruit in a day. Sugar can exacerbate conditions like these. Choosing the healthiest fruits means taking into account anything that might change the standard portions or types of fruit.


Healthiest Fruits

Kiwi Fruit

High in potassium and vitamin C, E and A, kiwi fruit rivals the banana in delivery potassium to the body in robust quantities. This healthy omega 3-rich fruit aids in combating cancer, provides high fiber content for a healthy colon and prevents drying skin. Kiwi has been known to bring on an allergic response in some people. Those with dental aids should be cautious of the tiny seeds of this fruit.

Guava

This exotic tropical fruit is rich in natural astringents for skin health, as well as contributing to the overall health of heart, muscles, tissue and eyes. Exceptional nutrition for connective tissues and nerve health, guava feeds the body to better enable self-healing. Prostate cancer has seen reductions when treated with a diet rich in guava. Banana

Bananas, when eaten for breakfast, deliver a solid dense food to relieve hunger and begin the day with natural sugars as opposed to over-processed or sugared cereals. Apricot

High in lycopene, apricot is used for the relief of macular degeneration and overall improvements in eye health. Vitamin A, found in abundance in apricots, is used to lower the possibilities of cataract formation and it fights the effects of free radicals. A high level of fiber helps in digestion and bowel health. A good quantity of natural fiber protects the body from cancers of the colon, bowel and rectum cancers by normalizing bowel movements to reduce straining.
